PADI Open Water Diver Certification
The PADI Open Water Diver course is your passport to the underwater world. With this certification, you’ll be able to dive independently with a buddy to 60 feet anywhere in the world. At Diving with Moon, training is private or in very small groups, taught by a certified PADI Specialty Instructor in Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, and Pompano.

The Open Water course is typically completed in 3–4 days and includes:
PADI eLearning completed at your own pace
Confined water sessions to master basic skills
Four open water dives in the ocean (reefs or shore sites)
All required scuba equipment provided
Certification processing and PADI card
Where We Dive
Blue Heron Bridge (Riviera Beach): Calm, shallow conditions for beginner sessions.
Palm Beach & Boynton reefs: Clear water, tropical fish, and turtle sightings.
Pompano wrecks: Great for later training dives once students are comfortable.
